Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) is a common requirement in most enterprises, as there is often a need to move data between different data sources for analysis or integration purposes. Most of the ETL tools available are either unnecessarily costly or complex.

Using SimpleETL™

SimpleETL presents a very intuitive interface. The following steps comprise an ETL activity using SimpleETL.

• Define the databases to be used in the ETL activity (or use the ones defined earlier)
• Select the database for extraction
• Specify the transformations (optional)
• Select databases for loading (one or many)
• Tune options (optional)
• Run the ETL activity, or schedule it to run later
